I remain silent on this site for now several months. Some of you asked me if everything was okay?
For sure, everything goes well... it's just that I have a lot of work at the Office since the beginning of this year, when, in parallel, I help my son to renovate his apartment (it's time for him to leave the family home !). In addition to montage theme creation, I became a specialist of painting, electricity, plumbing, etc ...
That said, others programmers have remained active and have sent me various series of montage themes that I will publish as soon as I will find enough time. I have also created a new series, but I have still some tunings to do before release.
So I start this "destocking" by this nice series designed by Papy Serge to reproduce the famous generic of the 1960s TV series "The Persuaders". Papy Serge's version is very simple to use and has a lot of possibilities of customization. I also wrote this short tutorial to give you some guideline when using this series !
Spring has finally arrived on France, and with it, the wedding season. This montage theme series will give you an opportunity to create an introduction, always appreciated, to traditional slideshows that launch parties!

It spent more than 2 months since my last edition. In fact, I have an end of year pretty busy that unfortunately doesn't let me enough free time. Nevertheless, for this year, this is MDamien that concocted us a Christmas special edition. Christmas tree, Santa claus, wreaths and snowflakes are the basis of this new series.
MDamien also trialed some special effects using an animated gif. It's fun and easy to do by simply superimposing the gif on a video!
Guillaume has also sent us a video presenting his family. This clip is made entirely on the basis of montage themes. With only a few days of experience in video editing, the result is impressive!
I wish you all a merry Christmas!
Put a DVD in your DVD!
updated on Sunday 21 October 2012
This was a long time that I had not edited an original series. It is true that I have personally already produces 29 series, therefore it's my 30th.
Today, I wanted to put on stage a DVD in its box through various animations. Imagine a DVD box coming from nowhere, it opens and a DVD get out... Then imagine that meanwhile the DVD Player opens, and finally, imagine that the DVD goes in this DVD player which then closes and switches on the flat screen TV... I agree that a lot of imagination is required, so, have look at this theme to better understand what I try to explain!
This 20cents DVD series of 12 themes has 3 different opening themes, 3 transitions, 3 ending sequences, a lower third, and 2 sequences to create an original background to ending generic.
Users of Avid Studio or studio 16 will only get 9 themes in this series, differences in behavior between the old version (12-15), and these new versions have not allowed to make compatible scripts.
Finally, it's soon Halloween, then feel free to re discover my 20cents Halloween series still of season !
Going on 20cents-video.com risk now to give you buttons !

Don't worry, this is not an early arrival of flu, this title, as often a little catchy (I do what I can...) is only announcing the creation of a new section on my website.
It seems that many people have sought to create their own miniature button to customize their DVD menus. Different methods exist, but nothing that allows to integrate new buttons directly in the Avid Studio or Pinnacle Studio 16 library.
So I decided to take up the challenge, and after a few days of research, I finally found how to create these buttons ...
well Yes, you have understood, this new topic is only for those using the latest version of Pinnacle Studio and Avid Studio, since these 2 software are cousins...
Of course, I also made you a tutorial to guide you step by step, because there are 2 or 3 tips to understand.
It is up to you to make this new section successful !
The Anonymous tackle 20cents-video!

Don't panic, my modest Web site was not the target of the famous hackers. This title just announced the publication of a new series of montage themes produced by MDamien who takes for main subject the Guy Fawkes mask worn by the character of V in "V for Vendetta" comic.
In addition, you will find in the topic Your Videos a very well done clip where François P. has staged its windsurfing, with a nice introduction using the montage themes, and with quite amazing images. Don't hesitate to take 4 minutes to watch it !
Several Calendars for this new season !
updated on Saturday 8 September 2012
I am back after a few weeks off far from my computer... To start this new season, E-N-C offers us an original short series that will allow you to display dates in different customizable calendars. This series works on all Pinnacle Studio versions since version 12 (including the last version 16), and on Avid Studio!
The information of this back to school is the launch of the last release of Pinnacle Studio 16. As everybody, I wondered what this new version could look like, so, I have downloaded and installed the demo version and I give you here my first impressions.

During July, it is time for the Tour de France, the famous cycling race, and as for any sport event broadcasted on TV, presentations with multiple views in parallel are widely used.
This allows for example to show an interview while keeping a look on the race, or to show the head of the race as well as the pack ...
So, a loyal visitor of this site asked me to help him to produce this kind of effect.
It is done with this mini series, easy to create, but very useful as you will see.
To simplify your montage, I have included different background images. If however you do not find what you need, create your own image using .jpg format with a 16:9 geometry, and named extra.jpg. Then, copy it into C:\Users\Public\Documents\Pinnacle\Content\IMG-Templates\20cents Reportage\-Assets.
Then you can simply choose your background using the "extra" label.
Special Euro 2012
updated on Wednesday 27 June 2012
Papy serge sent me a few weeks of the original themes he had created for one of his mounts ago. Originally, this series highlighted the European football champions league, but as I have had a lot of occupation, the subject was not any longer so new. I therefore inserted in his series some additional backgrounds, still about football, but this time focused on Euro 2012 that ends this week...
Here is Papy Serge Euro 2012 mini series!
as always, I refer you to the technique of montage theme cloning if unfortunatly football makes you allergic, and in such a case, don't hesitate to send me your creations!
